By using GPTypo ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Description of Service

GPTypo is an AI text editing tool that scans writing for AI detection patterns, provides sentence-level risk scoring, and offers rewrite suggestions. The Service is designed to help users identify and address false positives in AI detection systems.

2. Intended Use

GPTypo is a writing tool for professionals, students, and content creators who want to understand how AI detection systems analyze their text. It is intended for legitimate editing purposes — improving your own writing to reduce false positive detection flags.

Important: You are solely responsible for ensuring your use of the Service complies with all applicable laws, institutional policies, and codes of conduct. We do not condone academic dishonesty, plagiarism, or misrepresentation of AI-generated content as your own work.

3. Accounts and Subscriptions

The Service offers free and paid (Pro) tiers. Free accounts do not require sign-up. Pro subscriptions are billed monthly at $7/month through Stripe and can be cancelled at any time through the billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.

4. Accuracy Disclaimer

AI detection scores provided by GPTypo are estimates based on heuristic analysis and neural model classification. They do not guarantee how any specific third-party AI detection tool will score your text. Detection algorithms vary across platforms and are updated frequently.

We make no warranty that the Service will produce any specific detection outcome.

5. Intellectual Property

You retain full ownership of any text you submit to GPTypo. We do not claim any rights to your content. Rewrite suggestions generated by the Service are provided for your use without restriction.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GPTypo and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to academic penalties, content rejection, or loss of reputation.

7. Service Availability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time without notice. We are not liable for any downtime or service interruptions.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the Service.
